jx-305 is a entry-level synth. from Yorkshire, UK writes:
jx-305 has so many preset grooves and it sounds pretty good if you are a talentless fart who is quite satisfied with preset grooves. the cs6x on the other hand is a very pro. synth that has vast design possibilities. agreed its less effective than the korg triton, but you definitely can't compare the 305 jx with the cs6x.

These are the gear I own/owned: d-50,dx-7,an1x,jp8000,prophesy,cs6x,jx305,a5000sampler,

LOL, well dude you obviously don't know how to use the JX-305, or what original creation is about. With my time using the CS6x (actually owning) it, I got nothing from it. Buying the JX-305 is the best thing I ever done, you take your presets and your sound cheesy. The CS6x has no room for creation or idea's, thats what I found. I have lots of idea's and using the CS6x I got nothing. The JX-305 stands out a mile because its unique. If used the right way, original creation can be taken beyond the scope. Add my new email Roland_soundFXI22@hotmail.com, so we can disscuss this on msn, because your missing the point, just don't get the cs6x anyone, please just don't, it does my head in. I appreciate anyone's review, but its not exactly truthful. You want advice from someone who has been in this bussiness along time, over 18 years infact, go with me, respect all.

The synth is good, all u one brand maniacs, thank u for destroying trance music. Everybody sounds the same now, it does not matter what u use. Most brands make good products and if u know your instrument u can make it sound great. I hate new dance synths and their premade patterns, loops and aperggios. Where is the creativity we had in the nineties. Du u remember Trance from 92-96? If u do u will know what i mean.
