I think G Wizz is on the yamaha payroll...

i bought the cs6x as my first pro synth, I chose it over the Z1 and triton as well as some european models. I knew what to expect because I researched it a lot. I don't think a synth will ever be perfect in this age of instant-gratification. Live aperrigiating is irrelevant to my style. But after finding my way around the OS of this synth, I'm just glad that it has enough flexibility to accomadate my musical ideas. I know I cannot afford a k2600x, but for the $2000 I paid, I got an excellent synth. Imperfections and all. Besides, it isn't the gear that makes the music, it is our love of the music. Until I get my direct-to-cerebrum fully modular, intuitve synth installed in my head, I relize that I'll always have to work within the limitations of harware and software. Peace.

Yamaha are currently working on the arpeggiator fix and it should be released any day now. There are already new patches from Yamaha UK for download at the CS6x user site -http://www.cs6x.cjb.net/ also a CS6x forum at - http://www.teklab.com/forums/list.php3?num=13

As for the editing and interface,it all seems a bit complicated at first but after a few days you will soon become familiar with it and it is not really too bad at all.

the sound of cs6x is simply the best, but the interface and edition is no very good. For industrial music, you have a lot of presets. In digital synths world, I think is best.
