I recently found out about the warm sounds string synths(late 1970's early 1980's)produce but try finding one to buy - They are rarer than hens teeth and expensive! I got this CS2X after watching a demo video and WOW! You CAN create the same warm atmospheric sounds with this, Fairly easy to program too(Read the manuals). Professional quality, Portable and lightweight, I'm blown away!

This is actually the warmest of the 90s CS boards IMHO. Overlooked little board that is great for pads.

This gear is a great piece, I love this, but not for any logical reasons. The knobs look and feel weak, the sounds are marvellous, performance is unique, control is really great, design is perfect and psychedelic. I love it. I had one for three months in 2002, I sold it because I needed a Korg Karma, but I still own its user manual in French...
