I'm sorry Mago, but the tamm 500's sounds ARE 100% tru analog, were not even talking digitally controlled here...this puppy is pure analog bliss.

Nice box, overall...5 drum sounds (Bass, Tom 1,2,3, and Snare) The sounds aren't 'true' analog, as they are all sampled, but the controls and filters are quite analog... The lack of a memory setting switch is made up for with the inclusion of a painted-on sound template for setting up Acoustic, Electronic, and Percussion tones...All in all a very punchy box, but not quite as flexible as the Techstar TS306, which adds a fourth Tom sound and swaps the 'Bass' and 'Snare' sounds for 'Synth' and 'Clap' sounds, respectively.
