This keyboard is great for the price! I needed a keyboard for taking paino lessons and this is so much more than what i needed it for. The only thing im having a problem with is recording a song with several instruments. The recording time never seems to end on the thing. I recomend this for any person that wants a keyboard for a great price.
P.S. I got the keyboard for 350ish dollars new.

suddenly, after having the md1700 for approximately two years ALL the C's, E's and G#'s notes started giving trouble. Depressing C causes b,c,d,e and f to play simultaneously. to date no one that i took it to was able to fix it. will be happy to hear of some possible solutions. Its a shame to have to get rid of a goodlooking keyboard

I enjoy the casio Md-1700, I like the tones, the different pitches. I usually layer the organ with the synth2 then split it with another sound effect.I love the volume especially when it's plugged into an amp. but other than that it has great volume, and awesome pitchbending effects.
