I *so* want another one of these boards. They just don’t make boards this good anymore, and I want a spare in case something happens to this one. The more I think of it, the more I'd rather have a Motif module and play the T1. I just love the way the thing feels: the action, to me, is better than any board I've ever played: it feels, literally, like a piano.
The sounds are pretty 80's, though... PCM piano stil works well, though.
The thing is going for $600-800 everywhere I look, *IF* you're lucky enough to even find one. They are rare and people hold onto them like grim death.
If you ever manage to get your hands on one, trust me, for a real pianist, it's the closest you can get to having a Baldwin grand in your bedroom. And it's got room to stack other stuff on top of it, something the manufacturers have long since abandoned (I don’t get that). I don’t need a bulky double stand, just set the Alesis QS8 right on top.
