my buddy found one of these beauties in the trash!!! he immediately brought it to me. i flipped. i don't know much about these things, as i am a guitar player, but have dabbled in keyboards. i foresee many, many years of fun from this thing, as i feel it will take quite a while to figure out all those rocker switches! can't believe someone tossed it away!!!

very interesting piece. without fx most presets sound godawful, but hook it up to a guitar amp (or simulator), set it to a not too wild distortion and this baby sings. the double joysticks are brilliant, and - as far as performance goes- i would rate this synth second only to instruments using ribbon controllers. thru a guitar amp, imagine jeff beck meets fripp + belew... without - expect to get ms-20-ish sounds (a very limited range). when you buy this, you buy it for it´s conrol section. hard work, but worth it...

Just aquired a Lambda with a Sigma thrown in for a reasonable price and am delighted. I've got a lot of older analogues but never owned a preset mono. Probably because I thought they were restrictive. However, since I've played the Sigma I'm a changed man! Looks fabulous especially sitting beside my Lambda and Delta and sounds great. I love how you can mix all the sounds at the same time, you can get some awesome combinations. Its twin joysticks can create some interesting usable effects. The interfacing sockets at the back are astounding for a preset. Got a Kenton Prosolo which also works with HZ/Oct - Midi setup. If you ever get the chance of one buy it, you won't be disappointed although it still doesn't hack it with my Moog Source.

One of the best monophonic synths I've used in a long time. I was lucky enough to get one of the machines free from school one time, they forgot to ask for it back. I still use it extensively.
