I use the Korg M1 plugin(Now Korg Legacy Collection is also offered as individual downloads of M1, Wavestation etc.)The sounds are simply superb. Lots and lots of patches and still counting... With it whether vsti in DAW or standalone, you will have great control over your sounds and it can be tweaked to your hearts desire. The combis especially the strings are simply stunning. The etheral pads, dance pianos, organs, synth categories have many usable sounds. Infact, along with a decent DAW, M1 and good effects, you almost emulate a Hollywood music studio !!! This software is also very well programmed.Need to use the IFX effects to get the maximum out of this what this detailed software has to offer. I am sure you`ll enjoy the lush sound that this has to offer. To be slightly critical, I would say that acoustic instruments such as guitars, pianos etc. although very useful in the mix, are not quite good in solo. But then hey, this powerhouse softsynth was not meant to play articulated instruments, but provides all(including the cards)the M1 sounds which we still hear and enjoy. At under 50$, the software version of M1 is a Studio for the buck !!! :). Thank you Korg !! Enjoy

I have just bought the Korg Legacy collection and I am overwhelmed. I have owned quite a few hardware and software synthesizers: Korg Poly 61, Roland Juno 106, Waldorf Pulse, Waldorf microQ and Q+, Alesis Ion, Arturia Minimoog and Novation V-Station among others. This is absolutely the best package I have ever owned. With the hardware controller it is easy to use and what is more, it sounds awesome.
The Poly 6 and MS 20 do not sound exactly like the analogue models but they are closer to analogue than any other VA, be it a hardware or software VA. And then there is the Wavesatation - wow - what a lovely digital synth.
Above all the price for this package is ridiculous. Think about what you are going to pay for just one Arturia software synth with a controller that does not fit half as good as the controller for the MS 20 provided with the Korg Legacy Collection does. For the same price you get three synthesizers and a controller that just works if you buy the Korg Legacy. That´s amazing, isn´t it.
I have searched for a long time. I am sure that I will not search any longer. These are the perfect synths for my taste.
10 out of 5 stars ;-) ...

This software is awesome. Simple to install, intuitive in design, and the sounds are incredible. The Legacy Cell is a brilliant concept for combining sounds and FXs from Legacy's components. Korg's latest price point is right on target. This is one of the best music deals I've made in a long time.

Well, i downloaded the new "Demo" version of the legacy, spent all night with it, and bearing in mind, im 40 years old, and been playing with synths since the age of 16, and am into Electronics, engineering, and technology, i recieved a CD from Korg demonstrating this kit, and decided to download it in Demo form (32MB) from WWW,KORG.CO.UK and i must say, i WILL be buying it! you need a Fast PC/MAC at least 1.2Ghz processor, as much RAM as you can afford, and FAST hard drives for recording. Im gonna buy another PC just to run this software, and use it as an instrument(s) in their own right. The sounds obtained in the "Legacy" plugin (VST) or Stand Alone progs, are out of this world! I even heard for the first time in my life... the intro to Dr Who!... look for it it really is AWESOME! You must have a fast PC/mac to cope with this powerful instrument(s) I really have not heard anything that compares to it!!! Honestly! Try before you buy! ( and NO im not affiliated with Korg in ANY WAY!.... wheres me credit card? :o)
