This synth is awesome!! The first program-editable digital synth hardware I've used. I'm kinda broke, so I use the one that they have at my school, and even though I've only been using it for two or three days, I've been able to synthesize some cool fat bass sounds, solo leads, and much more. Pretty much anything I would need to make my techno/trance/house style music is on this synth, except for percussion, which I would use a computer or drum set for. I've been used to using computer soft synths that were much more simplistic to program than this one, but the 01/W was really easy for me to use! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 5 STARS!!

Amazing synth! some of the E-pianos are great, some are not. I bought this synth primary for the Pads, and it does an excellent job.

It has much more better pads than my Trinity plus, and is powerful in mixes. It fits very good in a mix.

The sequencer is not so good as the trinity, but it works.

It is also nice to have the wave-shaping. Thanks Korg!

I love this keyboard and played the same o1/wfd in my band for over 10 years and it held up great...and I mean I used the hell out of it. I had some difficulty finding someone to fix broken keys but have figured out how to fix them myself now. This is simply a classic synth. Although all these newer and better keyboards have come out, the o1/w still stands it's ground. Even though I use a newer Roland keyboard along with my o1/w, I'll always have my o1/w on stage with me. Just to give an idea of how important this keyboard is to me, I recently bought an o1w pro to replace my worn out o1/wfd.

Wow, the 01/w... All I can say is it will enhance your playing as time goes on. You will love the patches in this monster, and I will highly recommend that you obtain some third party sounds. Korg also made it very easy to customize and create your own sounds, so the timeline for this synth is limitless. Sure, it may be more than a decade old, but it sure sounds new even to this day.
