THis is really great. I have a JV880, from which the piano's are better, and I have a JX 10 from which the analog brasses are better, but if I can only bring one synth, I really take this one!

I've used this as a main axe for 4 years now, and it's served me well. The master controller capabilities on it are not to be found in other keyboard/synths, I suspect you'd have to buy a dedicated controler to get the same functionality. I like the master controller capabilities a *lot* better than the variety of sounds. There are a number of great sounds in it, but it's not very versatile in that department. If you've a rack setup and you are looking for a controller, this is just the ticket. If you just want to take one keyboard to the gig, you may have to tweak the sounds to get a few that you like.

Comments About the Sounds:
Great synth, great controller
