It was my first piece of kit and I found I could construct entire tunes, that sounded really proffesional almost straight away. The manual is a bit like a maths degree, but I suppose that's quite often the case, I found it easier to just fiddle and listen. Coulpe of set backs, it's hard to find compatible SCSI's for it, and there's only one effects prosessor, which leaves you spending alot of time trying to do programming tricks instead, if you haven't got any other FX gear. Comments About the Sounds: You can basically make any sound you want, but it takes a fair while to work into it and understand the masses of possibilities, I've quite often found myself getting lost in sound, going miles down branches awy from the stem. Had problems getting a nice fat low bass note from it, but spacious choir and string type sounds are lush. |
