Lasse Viklund writes:
This is one of Korg's forgotten gems. It takes 2 Minikorg 700S synths, stacks them together in one unit and adds duophony. Its not your ordinary duophonic synth though, you have completely independant control over each voice. Just like the Oberheim 2-Voice each 800DV voice is a seperate monosynth, so you get 2 700S synths to tweak all at once. This is an extremely fun synth to tweak and the sound possabillities are vast, but as with the Oberheim its a bit tedious getting each voice to sound the same. Neverless, this i an absolutally amazing analogue synth that deserves much more attention than it currently gets.

Comments About the Sounds:
Same sound as the 700S and 770 synths. Quiet a harsh sound at times, extremely unique and characterful. These things growl like nothing else. Listen to 'being boiled', you'll know what i mean.

(Thanks to Lasse Viklund for this info.)
and Rini for the pic
