Tony Kean writes:
A little known monophonic synth with a nice 4 octave keyboard that features touch sensitivity (patented by Arp and used in Arp Pro Solo). The touch sensitivity can add growl, vibrato, wow, brilliance, bend up, bend down. A lot of the features are similar to those of early Roland synths; hold, sustain, repeat, portamento, glissando. It has 2 built-in effects: spring reverb and a very fat flanger.

There are 32 presets: trombone, tuba, sax, bassoon, trumpet, mute trumpet, horn, shaku hachi, clarinet, oboe, flute, piccolo, violin, cello, electric bass, wood bass, fuzz guitar, hawaian guitar, piano, accordian, sitar, banjo, vibraphone, glocken, whistle, voice, wind, wave, synthsound 1, 2, 3, 4.

The reverb is a little noisy but it still adds a lot of character to the sound. The flanger is very, very phat and warm.

This synth is simple to use and always inspires me when ever I use it. If you see one for sale (which is always a rarity), snap it up.

Comments About the Sounds:
Lovely, warm expressive anaogue sound.
