Well, I was asked in as a sequencer, after using the new yamaha for awhile this board was kinda weird. I have to say it is a cool sounding board, but a bit weird. At first look it seems to be a relitive of a cheap portasound, but it is much more. It feels real, I mean real. And the best part of this board is sliders, finally a keyboard that knows what keyboardist want... Oh yeah, the analog section is actually a digitally controlled analog, sparing the r&d for the physical modeling for that synthesis style. Pretty much great for anything, plus it is reasonably priced. Drum machine and sequencer could be a bit better though. The only thing that agravted me abount this keyboard is there is no visable arpeggio. Comments About the Sounds: I hate to say, this is probably the only keyboard out that is kinda true to being analog, because part of it is..... |
