The biggest "feature" here is the ability to turn sustain on and off, meaning there are two whole options for rate of sound decay after key release - immediate and ~1 second. I only found this because the frontman in my band likes to break things on stage, and this only cost $20. He didn't even think it was worth that much, though (I think monophony is amusing, though).
