For the money it's a pretty decent little mono synth. A bit thin sounding and a little boring due to lack a knobs but not bad for leads. Comments About the Sounds: This a preset only synth with 15 individual 2 preset tabs. The presets are not combinable. There's potamento, volume, touch sensitivity and brilliance sliders. Six effects can be used with aftertouch including volume, wow, growl, vibrato, brilliance, and pitch. The keyboard feels decent. A repeat switch causes automatic retriggering for staccato effects. Not bad sounding but kinda boring. The fuzz guitar and song whistle presets are the best and the bass is very woody sounding. If you listen to Genesis you can hear the fuzz guitar setting on "In the Cage" to name one. Or if you're into Paul McCartney, Linda plays the solo in "Jet" from "Wings Over America" on the Pro-Soloist. |
