Gaz Williams joins us at the show this year for the first time - he's been finding cool things to film, and brought us to the Arturia booth where he's been chatting to the good folks there not just about their new synths, but a curious hardware fixing 'boss' featured on their new releases.

Apparently they are offering it as an 'open' standard for use by other manufacturers, and it can be purchased at cost from them by anyone wanting to use it in their hardware products.

Interesting idea - the video/photo/film world has a few 'standard' mounting options - it can only be a good thing if a similar system gets adopted in the audio world.
