We had the opportunity to get a brief chat with a living legend in the synth world - Fumio Mieda - one of the creators of the Korg MS-20 and now the MS-20 mini. My Japanese is non-existant, but fortunately we had Tatsuya Takahashi on hand to translate. Tatsuya happens to be the inventor of the new Korg Volca as well as the Monotrons and Monotribe - hows that for a class team?

I must say they were both incredibly patient through my blundering questions and Mr Mieda very kindly gave me a signed copy of the MS20 guide to synthesis.

During the course of the interview, Mr Mieda spoke about future plans to bring other classics from the same era back to life - what could be next?

After a tease like that, you'll need to watch now...
