We initially thought that last year was the iOS and iPad big year for NAMM products, but I think this year trumps it with ease. Alesis being one of the manufacturers who are brining out hardware  to work with the ubiquitous touch device. We have an IO Dock here at Sonic Towers, and have to say that is an invaluable accessory to the iPad - with balanced IO and such like. Although we are still waiting for the Synthstation 49 to ship more than a year after it was announced.

Next up is the DM Dock, which provides 13 touch sensitive trigger inputs for working with drum tirgger software such as Alesis's own DM Touch App.

Expected to ship srping 2012 at $249
