New from Alesis are the Strike series of electronic kits. Coming in 5 and 6 piece configurations, they feature mesh heads and multi-zone cymbal pads. You can load your own samples and have high levels of velocity switching, giving a good level of playability. We spoke to Tim Root behind the velvet rope at the InMusic booth who gave us a demo of the new kits.
