TJ Hertz music tends to get labelled as techno, however from listening to his album and his 12" releases you realise that he has a lot of depth and scope to his productions that can sometimes get lost with other techno producers.
This is inherently from the iterative nature of his productions which we discussed. After learning this you realise that there is probably not one sound in his output that is not processed in some way.
TJ made good use of some of the gear on offer at Studio Stekker getting his hands on the Synton Syrinx and Simmons SDS800 amonst other pieces.
