Hanging out in Berlin and creative unique stage technology for the like of Børk and Daft Punk has got to be a fun gig, flexing those creative muscles with some of the more cutting edge performers. And thats what the designers of the new Skram iPad app have been doing. Applying their design skill to streamline their music production and performances. Liine are also responsible for Lemur for iOS and Live Control, one of the more well respected Ableton Live control apps.
They figured " there was a need for an accessible platform, something to enable fans to make the music they like without feeling patronised" says Liine's CEO Gareth Williams. "We felt that we could build something that inspires existing musicians too, for whom simplicity stimulates creativity, freedom and fun."
Skram is an ecosystem similar to other creative systems - like Korg's excellent Gadget.
Skram comes with a set of Devices and Widgets which will be expanding as developers add them.
