The Nord Sample Library 2.0 is described by the company as an essential selection of quality sampled sounds from a wide range of genres. A spokesperson told us, "In addition to a new improved layout for easier navigation and category support we have optimized a lot of our existing samples and added some brilliant new sounds in the categories Strings, Voice and Folk instruments. Naturally the Nord Sample Library 2.0 also includes all exclusively licensed original sounds from the legendary vintage tape-samplers Mellotron and Chamberlin!"

COMPATIBLE PRODUCTS:

  • Nord Stage 2 EX
  • Nord Stage 2
  • Nord Piano 2
  • Nord Electro 5

Here's more details from Nord:

Nord instruments must be updated to the the latest OS version to support the Nord Sample Library 2.0 files.

In the Nord Sample Library 2.0 we've added sound demos for every single sample in the selection which makes it easier to find what you are looking for.

The desired sounds are transferred to your Nord Sample Library 2.0 compatible instrument with the simple to use Nord Sound Manager. Our sample playback engine uses a highly efficient lossless compression algorithm that makes it possible for us to fit more and larger sized samples in the memory of the units, without compromising the sound quality.

Nord Electro 3, Nord Electro 4 and Nord Wave can still find all our samples from the previous generation of our Nord Sample Library in our Nord Sample Library Archive.
