The problem of how to get the experience of tape flanging into an effects pedal isn't an easy one - running tape machines and pressing your thumb onto the flange is a bit of a different experience to twisting a knob on a stompbox.

But Catalinbread have come up with a pretty novel way of replicating this experience for guitarists who may never have even had the chance to play around with reel to reel tape.
