Anyone Can Have A POD For Their iPad

Mobile POD App now works with interfaces other than Line 6's own   04-Dec-14

Line 6 has announced Mobile POD v1.7 for iOS, which they say puts legendary POD tone into the pockets of guitarists, no matter what iOS audio interface they own. The Mobile POD app enables guitarists to practice, jam and record with Line 6 guitar tones wherever they are, using any Core Audio-compatible interface. Guitarists can instantly access thousands of guitar tone presets, including the same award-winning Line 6 tones used on countless hit records.

Marcus Ryle, Chief Strategy Officer at Line 6, told us, "For years, guitarists have relied upon POD tones in the studio and on stage, and the Mobile POD app provides classic POD processing for free when using our Sonic Port or Sonic Port VX interfaces. With the release of version 1.7, all iOS Core Audio-compatible interfaces can have the award-winning Line 6 guitar tone used on countless hit records through in-app purchase."
