10 Greatest Fender Stratocaster Guitarists: The Results

Last month we asked you to vote for your most iconic Stratocaster player, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster.

The results are in, and we're astounded by the diversity of the guitarists in the top 10.

Players from all eras are represented, and from numerous different styles and genres. No two guitarists in this list are alike.

So let's get started...

10) Dick Dale

Some of you guys might be thinking "WHO?!", and you can be forgiven for that... actually, no you can't be forgiven for that.

Dick Dale is the father of surf rock, and he is most famous for his version of the European folk song 'Miserlou', which he recorded in 1962.

The song had a resurgence after it was used in the film Pulp Fiction in 1994, and above you can see an amazing video of Dale performing it in 1996.

Not only is he an incredible guitarist (THAT rhythm hand!), but he's also a leftie, which wins him extra points. You voted him at number 10 in our poll of the greatest Strat players.
