Circuits To Cure Cancer 2014: Buy a Guitar Pedal For a Great Cause

Wampler, Black Cat, Earthquaker and Mojo Hand pedals for sale   07-May-14

Circuits For Cancer is a charity event which took place for the first take last year, and which raised over $14,000 dollars the first time around.
This year, the event is in its second year and is aiming to raise even more money for charity.

Organised by Blake Hickey of Blakemore Effects, it sees the community of boutique pedal makers and indie pedal companies unite; putting their products up for sale and donating 100% of the proceeds to charity.

In short - you should get involved, because this year there are twice as many companies donating pedals, which not only means a wider choice of pedals on offer for you guys, but a bigger potential sum raised for children's cancer charity St Jude Children's Research Hospital, which is located in Memphis.

The individual pedals are sold on Reverb.com from May 8-18th, and here's a little snapshot of some of the pedals on offer:

As you can see in the top right, Wampler have a special edition pink Thirty Something on offer, and that is not the only limited edition pedal on display.

Black Cat are offering a limited edition gold Wee Buzz, and Blakemore Effects are offering a Motor City Fuzz signed by Lincoln Parish from Cage The Elephant.

To see the full list of pedals up for auction, along with the start and finish dates of the auctions, go to the Cicuits To Cure Cancer website.

Another good way to stay up to date with the latest news on auctions on specific pedals is through the Circuits To Cure Cancer Facebook page.

It's a testament to the guitar community worldwide that so many companies have donated their products for this brilliant cause.
