Okay I'm guilty of a rather sensational headline, but you can't blame me given the hype and frenzy that has surrounded this release. I thought we were special, but videos are popping up all over the place of exclusive first looks etc. Still I dont think anyone has done an A/B with an 808.

I had hoped for more time, but these things are like gold, no platinum dust and our review units have to move on elsewhere. Additionally, I didn't realise just how unfathomable the TR808 is to program! Compared to the TR8 its a lot more obscure.

But I hope you can at least take a listen and make your mind up. There are differences for sure but I'll leave that up to you to hear
