If you haven't heard of the Black Angels, then you should check them out (video provided above), psychedelic rock built around some beautiful and complex guitar textures, with a touch of good ol' southern rock and roll thrown in.
The band's guitarist is selling three of his collection of classic amps, including vintage offerings from Gretsch and Marshall. The three items for sale are:
Marshall Bluesbreaker 1962 (reissue) 2x12 combo JTM 45
Selmer Treble 'N' Bass Mk III Amp Head
Gretsch Super Bass 6154 2x12
Rarely does the opportunity arise to own a piece of gear that you know has been owned by the guitarist in a prolific rock band, with a reputation for consistently awesome guitar tone.
The amps have all been used for Black Angels recordings or for live use with the Black Angels or with one of Christian Bland's side projects.
Bland is selling the amps in order to buy an earlier model Selmer amp. If you want to bid on any of them, you can go to the eBay listings.
