Sinevibes has announced major updates to its Array spectral sequencer and Sequential multi-effect sequencer AudioUnit plugins for OS X. They tell us that both products have received multiple visual enhancements and new creative controls, as well as additional presets.
Array 2.0.0 brings the following changes:
- Completely new user interface designed from the ground up.
- New filter slope control with -12 and -36 dB/octave options.
- Much increased filter resonance at its maximum setting.
- New effect dry/wet balance control.
- Sequence utility and looping functions.
- New chaos/randomisation algorithm for a more rarefied pattern.
- User manual in PDF format.
- New preset patches.
Sequential 2.1.0 has these improvements:
- New "step switch lag" control allows to change from fast effect switching to slow crossfade.
- New "step duration" control adjusts step length for a "strobe" effect.
- Revised control size and spacing.
- Added one bar per step sequencer rate option.
- New design for sequencer function buttons.
- Updated user manual with more information.
- New preset patches.
Pricing and Availability:
The updated Array and Sequential plugins are available for $25 and $33 until the end of August (normal prices are $29 and $39). They are free updates to all existing owners.
