In the wee small hours of this morning, news arrived of the new Keith McMillen Quneo Rogue - a thing (there is no image of the actual unit yet), presumably some kind of flat plate that fits to the bottom of the Queno providing both power and Wifi - meaning you can send your control data wirelessly to the host DAW.

Looking at the product page, this may be an idea that has not reached final production, but if enough interest is shown, resources will be put into the Rogue and it will be made. Its an interesting model - crowdsourced manufacturing. Something that might catch on for other manufacturers.

The QuNeo Rogue will be priced "at around" $395 according to the KMI site, which does make it significantly more expensive than the actual Quneo, but perhaps it can be used with other devices too.

What do you think?
