Waves Audio has introduced its new NS1 Noise Suppressor. Described as a uniquely intuitive professional noise suppression plugin, the NS1 Noise Suppressor intelligently differentiates between dialog and unwanted noise. Waves says that, perfect for post production, broadcast, voiceover, audio forensics and musical applications alike, NS1 instantly analyzes and adapts to a user's signal in real time, bringing the foreground into focus as it eliminates unnecessary background noise.
Intuitively controlled by a simple single fader, NS1 also features an attenuation meter, which shows users just how much overall energy is being removed from their input signal. NS1 is SoundGrid and MultiRack Native compatible.
Controls:
  • Fader determines the amount of noise suppression.
  • Attenuation Meter displays the amount of overall energy removed from the input signal.
Pricing and Availability:
Waves NS1 Noise Suppressor is now available with pricing as follows:
Native – U.S. MSRP $200, with a special introductory price of $99
TDM – U.S. MSRP $300, with a special introductory price of $149
