Quite a lot of things under glass at the Numark/Akai booth this year - the first one we got to look at was the prototype MPCDJ, a "vision of the future" which combines Numark's DJ control and analog mix system with the Akai MPC pads for a full DJ production workstation. We will see how this pans out as its not expected to be available anytime soon.

We also got a look at the 4Track, a 4-deck live performace surface with four channel analog mixer combined with extra real-time control for live performance. Also features the amusingly titled Strip Search function for quickly moving through a track,

Expected to be $999
