We've been following the progress of CopperLAN for some time, this week it was finally released in commercial form, making it something equipment manufaturers can get their teeth into. The new SDK and a Arduino style development board means that prototyping and testing are much more accessable, so maybe now we'll see a wider adoption of the standard.
We've already seen some cool modular synth interface and MIDI hardware from Alyseum - lets hope for more.

There seems to be a problem with the video. I have tried to watch it with 3 different devices and it always stops about 1/3 way trough. Can you please re-upload this video, I'm extremely interested seeing what CopperLan offers!

Video was no problem for me. Very cool technology; I especially liked it when he plugged it out of the Mac and then into the PC and the system reconnected as if there was no problem at all. Also like the modular interface - could be a whole new area of digital/analog integration there. Great stuff!
