Camel Audio has announced Dream Voices for Alchemy and the Free Alchemy Player is now available. Dream Voices contains 150 presets.
Camel Audio tell us that Dream Voices is a haunting medley of angelic solos, choral washes and intricately woven vocal gymnastics. They say that morphed, mutated and modulated voices combine to create ethereal soundscapes, scanned vowels, alien lifeforms and other worldly articulations. Wordless vocal sounds, phrases and improvised vocal effects, ethnic and synthetic voices, instruments and even vocal percussion and drum kits, says Camel Audio, round out a collection that is both inspirational and harmonically rich.
A Camel Audio spokesperson told us, "Featuring nearly 1.3GB of new vocal samples, recorded exclusively for Camel Audio, Dream Voices shows off the individual character and style of four wonderful solo female vocalists - Anna-Lynne Williams (Trespassers William), Anneke Kampman (Conquering Animal Sound), Chantal Acda (Sleepdog) and Elly May Irving (Glissando). All four have numerous commercial releases and have toured extensively internationally. They have been involved with many interesting collaborations - for example, Anna-Lynne Williams appears on the Chemical Brothers 'Push the Button' album."
