Friday 11th November will be national metal day in the US, and it could also be the day we finally get confirmation of Black Sabbath's reunion.
The Brummie metal band have arranged for a press conference on the 11/11/11 to be held at the Whisky A Go-Go in Los Angeles. The band's first US show also took place at the venue, on the same date, but back in 1970.
With Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward are all confirmed to be appearing at the conference, many are speculating that the group will announce a reunion tour, and possibly even a new album.
The hype surrounding the possibility of a reunion has been growing ever since a journalist at the Birmingham Mail (UK Newspaper) had claimed that Iommi had confirmed a Sabbath reunion during a conversation the pair had.
The guitarist denied these rumours, but later said that the band were rehearsing together.
Iommi has also released a new book, with gritty details of some of the band's wilder moments.
