Metallica And Lou Reed Website Goes Live

It's not the most comprehensive website in the world, but it is an official website nonetheless, and shows that the release of the Lou Reed and Metallica album is drawing ever closer.

The website consists of just a photograph, and a message saying 'coming soon'.

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett mistakenly blurted out the news of the collaboration whilst the band were still trying to keep it under wraps. The band then confirmed the news on their website back in June.

There is currently no date set for release, and no further details as to the sonic style of the album, we'll just have to wait and see. All we know is that it has been fully recorded.
