As reported yesterday on Amped, the new Red Hot Chili Peppers single has been released and you can listen to it above. The song is entitled The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie.
The new track seems to combine dirty-groove elements from Blood Sugar Sex Magik era, with more of the melodic hooks found in albums like By The Way. However, it must be said that it leans more towards the latter, which will please most of the newer fans at least.
The song will be the first single from the new album, I'm With You. The artwork for the album was designed by Damien Hirst, and is pictured below:
