Dan Boul, co-owner and president of boutique amplifier company 65amps, is hosting a weekly live online broadcast entitled, Lunch with Dan Boul of 65amps. Here's the press release that 65amps has put out...
Taking place each Wednesday at 12:00pm Pacific time, the show is streamed live on the internet via UStream. Viewers can watch the show as it happens and ask Dan questions in real time using the UStream host chat feature. Or the shows are recorded and viewers can watch them any time.
In addition to demonstrating the wide range of top quality amps in the 65amps line, Boul runs through a variety of other gear, hosts special guests, and gives tips and suggestions to viewers. Recent shows have covered vintage pedals, mics and amp mic'ing techniques, how various guitars sound through the amps, and so much more.
Boul also has special industry and celebrity guests join him on the show. Upcoming appearances include Sheryl Crowe guitarist and 65amps co-owner Peter Stroud, John Jennings from Royer Labs, Mark Goldenberg from Jackson Browne's band, Ward Hake from Fox's Glee and Sons of Anarchy, and many other studio players, producers, and engineers. Recent guests include Mar Loughman from BAE, and guitarist and composer Steve Kirk. "It's really important to me to be able to interact directly with our customers and with people who are as in love with guitar and guitar amps as I am," commented Boul.
