Howard Jones has announced a remix program - the ReWork Project in conjunction with Audioporn.com and Soundcloud.com. As well as getting your hands on the 'tapes' and free reign to do your thing, should it be picked from the mixes, you may also end up on an actual release- details to be announced.

Launched at the tail end of last week - the first track to be made available is "Automaton" from the 1985 platinum album  "Dream Into Action".

Stems

  • BVsa
  • Synths 1
  • Synths 2
  • Synths 3
  • Drums

All you need to do is head for ReworkHowardJones.info, fill in the form, then you are directed to the Soundcloud.com page where you can download the stems and get to work.

Beyond April 18th, Howard and his team will continue to release ‘sets’ of remix parts for a number of past classics; tracks picked from a music repertoire spanning in-excess of 25 years.

With original copyrights returned to Howard and bunch  of A-list studio hacks interested in reworking Howard, a new album concept has been born; details of which are for another day. What can be confirmed is that the overall ‘winner(s)’, if you like, will become part of said album concept.

All ReWork Howard Jones news, announcements updates, and communications, including the release of new audio parts, can be discovered via the official blog and content hub first; so we recommend interested parties tune into the RSS feed or stalk the page on a regular basis to be sure not to miss a trick!
