Here's the Telefunken press release...
TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustic, the TEC Award-winning microphone company which faithfully recreates the vintage sound of classic Telefunken mics, is now offering access to actual multitrack recording sessions with a variety of musical artists. Microphones used include the company's classic ELA M 251, C12, and U47 microphones, alongside the newly designed CU-29, AR-51, AK-47 MkII, ELA M 260, and M80 dynamic microphones.
Each Multi-Track Session File includes a detailed description of the recording session, including photos of the microphone placement, as well as the choice of pre amps used for each channel. All audio files are presented in .WAV format and were recorded at 24bit / 44.1KHz sample rates. Recorded tracks can be downloaded and imported into the listener's digital audio workstation of choice.
Over the course of the next few months, TELEFUNKEN will be releasing a variety of different multi-track sessions, ranging from acoustic music to vocal jazz big band, classic rock to instrumental fusion. "We encourage listeners to use these files to get familiar with the TELEFUNKEN product line and also fine tune their mixing skills," commented Alan Veniscofsky, Director of Operations.
A variety of artists in session are available, including Jackie Greene, recorded during the 2010 AES Convention in San Francisco.
