Harmony Systems, Inc. has announced the worldwide availability of Delora gbTouch, an iPad application that functions as a remote controller for Apple's Garageband. Here's their press release...
Features & Benefits
  • gbTouch emulates Garageband's frequently used controls, including transport functions - Play, Record, Back, Forward, Beginning and Loop - as well as individual track selection, mute, record, solo and volume control. Commonly used effects, including compressor, visual EQ, echo and reverb, are enabled and adjusted using overlay screens. All controls are sized for easy touch accuracy and visibility.
  • gbTouch is optimized for both landscape and portrait orientations.
  • Besides supplementing the use of mouse and keyboard to control Garageband, gbTouch also serves as a "control surface" for Garageband. It makes music creation more productive and allows control of Garageband from anywhere in your studio. This flexibility is particularly useful in recording situations.
gbLink Makes it Happen
gbTouch requires the installation of gbLink, a small OSX application, on a Mac. gbLink provides the ability for gbTouch to communicate with Garageband using a Wi-Fi network. gbLink is free and available for download at the Delora website.
Pricing and Availability:
gbTouch is available at a special introductory price of $4.99 on the App Store More information:
