Backstage With The Edge

U2 guitarist auctions backstage experience   22-Oct-10

Bidding closed yesterday on the experience of a lifetime for any U2 fan. Legendary guitarist The Edge, auctioned off two backstage tickets for the U2 360 Tour.

The bidding was all in the name of charity, and the estimated value of the tickets was $15,000.

Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for cancer research will benefit from the auction (www.gabriellesangels.org).

The auction winner experiences a first-class flight on Continental Airlines to a North American show of their choice to take in the whole gig from VIP seats. After the show, the fans will meet The Edge and get a behind the scenes look at the "Space Station" - the name given to the amazing stage structure used on the tour.

The winners will have The Edge as their private tour guide!
