Further extending the compatibility of its flagship multi-channel Ultra-Harmonizer processor, Eventide today announced V5.5 software upgrade for the H8000FW has been released to production. V5.5 is a free download for registered H8000FW users at the Eventide website. Here's all the details from the company:
V5.5 adds Windows 7 and Snow Leopard compatibility, some system enhancements, and adds all of the TimeFactor and ModFactor effects and presets to the already abundant 1,800 programs resident in the H8000FW.
Also available on the Eventide website, at no charge for registered users, are new updated H8000FW signal routing programs for Mac and PC.
The culmination of nearly forty years of crafting groundbreaking effects, the H8000FW Ultra- Harmonizer is the most powerful Eventide processor ever. The H8000FW carries forward Eventide's best programs, including 5.1 reverb and effects up to 96 kHz. The H8000FW can process up to eight channels of 24-bit 96 kHz with one cable via FireWire. The H8000FW features AES/EBU, ADAT, and S/PDIF digital I/O as well four channels of analog I/O.
