When Presonus first announced the launch of a totally new DAW - there were raised eyebrows from many. Some thought it foolhardy, but if you take the view - as Presonus do - that some of the other DAWs are so long in the tooth, that they are bogged down in their own legacy code and demanding user base, that they just cant deliver really new features and workflows without further bloating, you can see there might be some merit to a fresh approach.

At NAMM we saw the introduction of Version 1.1, but the coders have been surpassing themselves and now bring us version 1.5

What this means is more development of the one window with browser and mucho drag and drop kind of stuff.

I got up early to catch Rodney Orpheus at the stand and get the lowdown on the new features.
