Tricky Tricky Remix Parts by Royksopp

Röyksopp has announced a new remix contest, with copies of Ableton Live as the prize:

We feel that track Tricky Tricky has so much potential, it deserves a life outside the album. Not only is this a chance at beating us at our own game, you also get to mess around with Karin Deijer-Andersson’s extraordinary vocals! Now, how about that?!?

You can preview and download the track, along with the remix parts, above.

Details on the contest are available at the Röyksopp site (link below).

Note: While Röyksopp is making the remix parts available for free download, they retain distribution rights to both their parts and any remixes:

All parts made available to download, and all parts downloaded remain the property of Royksopp. All remixes completed, whether submitted in this competition or not, remain the property of Royksopp. No exploitation, or distribution of remixes shall be permitted without the sole written consent of Royksopp.

Let's hope that Röyksopp takes a clue from Nine Inch Nails and does their next remix contest using a Creative Commons license, which would allow you to freely distribute your remix.
