If you weren't sure whether you were coming to LIMS, perhaps this might persuade you and if you are - make sure you dont miss this: SAE - the international Recording School, have booked production legend Gareth Jones to speak at the SAE lectures on Friday 12th June. From introducing sampling to Depeche Mode to working with Goldfrapp, Nick Cave, Moby, Embrace and Erasure, Gareth Jones has made a huge impact in the world of popular music. Over the last three decades he has worked with a vast number of artists and been involved with several seminal works including John Foxx's Metamatic and Depeche Mode's Construction Time Again and he even recorded Madness' first ever single, The Prince! Now anyone attending LIMS will have a chance to see this master producer in action as he gives a talk for SAE on Friday 12th June at 4:15pm in the Seminar Room of the Unplugged Hall. Gareth will be discussing the art of EQ-ing, just one of a list of seminars given by various luminaries on behalf of SAE. Schedule as follows Friday 12th June
