This was one of the surprise products of the show, TC Electronic, who haven't before released amplification – as far as I know, hit us with the compact and rather attractive RebelHead 450. The small bass amp head is 450Watts with a Class D package . But there's more, a built in tuner, sexy red led surrounded pots with four semi-parametric EQ section with three user memories, SpectraComp a multiband bass compressor and TubeTone - a simulation of a tube pre and power amp, not just the preamp stage.
There are also two cabinets types which follow the same small form factor – a 2x10 and 2x12.

Brian from USA Said... Wow, very cool. Since I play both bass guitar and upright bass the EQ memory concept is perfect. If the compressor is as good as they claim this could a really happening amplifier. 26-Jan-09 12:42 PM Canada Dave Said... Me too, playing both upright and a five string. This does look very good but I use an A/B box to trade between the two. This would be great if you could plug both into the foot controller and then switch between th two. This looks like you'd have to still unplug to trade between the two. 11-Feb-09 12:25 PM Post a comment
