Long time producer and distributor for such legendary soundware developers as Spectrasonics, Vienna Symphonic Library, and Synthogy, ILIO say that they are proud to recognize 15 years in the Music Products Industry at the 2009 Winter NAMM Show.
"Our very first NAMM appearance was four days after our home-office was upended by the big Northridge earthquake, so our business literally got off to a bumpy start," remembers Mark Hiskey, who co-founded the company with his wife Shelly in 1994. "But since then, we've had so much fun over the years that it's hard to believe we've already reached this milestone. Our proudest accomplishment is that we've been able to connect our customers with the industry's most recognized producers, who create consistently innovative and inspiring products. We're indebted to our producers for allowing us to represent them every step of the way, and to our dealers and customers for their loyalty and honest feedback, which has helped to keep us on the 'straight and narrow' path to success."
In contrast to its early days as a home-based business, ILIO now operates out of a 7,000 square foot office space in Westlake Village, California, complete with recording studios, a product demo theater, and spacious warehouse.
The company enters 2009 with several exciting announcements from Vienna Symphonic Library, Spectrasonics and Synthogy, as well as new products from Overloud and Applied Acoustics Systems, companies it also distributes exclusively in North America.
In addition to commemorative product giveaways at its booth at the NAMM show, ILIO will punctuate the coming year with several product promotions and announcements throughout.
