Following on from their Open Day announcement last week, SAE have sent us the details for the Open Day at the brand new Oxford campus…
SAE Institute, the world’s largest private digital media college will be hosting an Open Day at the new £25million Oxford campus on Sunday October 5th and inviting potential students to experience its world class facilities. The new Oxford campus, offering world class courses in Audio Engineering, Digital Film and Interactive Entertainment will also form the new global headquarters for the SAE Group.
The Open Day will give potential students the chance to come and meet some of SAE’s tutors – all highly respected professionals in the industry – and learn more about the range of hands-on practical training courses as well as the specialist academic degree courses designed to equip students for a career in the digital media industry.
SAE Oxford will feature bespoke teaching facilities, individual workstation areas, recording studios equipped with the latest technology (including one capable of recording an entire 88-piece orchestra), live rooms (featuring a £70,000 Steinway Series D concert standard grand piano) and an extensive library packed with books, films and other creative new media.
Tom Misner, President and Founder of SAE Institute said: “SAE Oxford will be the world’s biggest and best digital media college, continuing our proud tradition of producing world class graduates in the audio, film and interactive entertainment industries. Almost every Hollywood blockbuster and top-selling CD of note in the last twenty years has had a SAE graduate involved in its production. This is what gives us an edge over the competition – our track record of successful grads working with the likes of 50 Cent, Britney Spears and Robbie Williams.
“To produce these industry leaders we need the highest quality equipment and facilities to train them on. We’ve invested heavily in our kit which is reserved solely for student use and puts that of many professional studios to shame. We look forward to welcoming the next generation of Brian Enos and Michael Bays through our doors from October 2008.
The Oxford campus will be welcoming students from 22nd October 2008 in time for the 2008/9 academic year.
Open Days events for the London, Liverpool and Glasgow campuses will be held on Sunday November 2nd.
